They provide their clients with complete solutions that use technology innovatively to maximise financialgains.They have a position available for a Practice Director who will own the overall responsibility for the companysOperational Excellence practice, including vertical segment customisation of the companys solution offering, with thefocus on leading and developing the practice, providing thought leadership and being responsible for the management,expansion and strategy as well as the creation of related sales support material, processes, methodologies, verticalsolutions and messaging as it relates to the assigned practice.The Practice Director is required to have extensive experience in the field of consulting and delivering OperationExcellence through implementation of business processes with the eTOM frameworks and business consulting of OSS and BSSsystems and architecture in order to allow them to provide credibility, leadership and the required technical, financialand business background knowledge to the organisation.Skill/Competencies/QualificationsA minimum of 5 years experience in the assigned vertical segment (Service Provider), and ideally from a consultingbackground with a major consulting organisationA Bsc or comparable degree in a technical or business discipline and ideally an MBA degreeDemonstrable understanding of eTOM and ITIL and ideally ITIL certified at all levelsPrevious responsibility for OSS and BSS product or solution developmentManagement experience within a consulting or product organisation within an international environmentDetailed understanding of IT operational processes, such as Change Management, Release Management etc.Ability to document IT Process flows, using common tools such as Visio or othersExperience in IT Operational environments and have a detailed understanding of the day-to-day working methods ofoperational IT staff for both Service providers and enterprisesDetailed understanding of staffing models for a service provider or enterprise operationsUnderstand the common tools and products that are used for OSS and BSS for service providers and enterprisesDemonstrable understanding of process reengineering, Six Sigma and process documentationStrong verbal and non-verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsTeam leadership qualities and skillsAbility to support process and qualification and understand the consulting business modelUnderstanding of the sales process and qualification and a track record of guiding and enabling account managersTrack record of gaining credibility on key strategic areas (ex. Roadmaps, Practices, Business Development) within anorganisationBusiness and Financial knowledge and the ability to articulate solutions and benefits both at technical/technology andbusiness levelThis role may involve travel within Europe, so the successful candidate must be able to travel and conduct businesswithout requiring entry or visa authorisations.
