Our client, who provide engineering solutions and services to a range of industrial sectors, are currently looking a PLCSupport Technician to offer PLC hardware and software support to the high-tech baggage handling systems. Keyresponsibilities will include fault diagnosis and rectification, monitoring of plant performance, software backup andsecurity, installation and verification of software upgrades, hardware changes and upgrades and assisting the Engineersin the support of SCADA and other high level computer systems. This challenging position will involve working a shiftpattern comprising 12 hour days.The role requires someone qualified to HNC standard in electrical/electronic engineering, a background in a processindustry, with proven electrical skills in providing PLC control system support. Ideal candidates will also haveknowledge of the application of SCADA systems to plant control and an understanding of 415V motor control philosophy.
