Description:

The function of this role will be to provide technical support to professional planning officers in the Development Control Group. This will involve checking and validating applications for planning permission, replying to correspondence seeking advice on the need for planning permission and other general planning matters. You will also undertaking surveys, site inspections and analyses relating to Planning matters, provide general technical support to the development control function and produce computer-based maps and plans for use by the Development Control Group.
