Requirements are:- Background in Construction, Surveying, Architecture or Health & Safety Evidence of understanding safety inspection/audits of temporary and permanent workplaces To prepare, develop and monitor procedures to assist Principal Contractor in discharging duties under CDM Regulations1994 & Amendments. Promoting positive awareness of Health and Safety and encouraging safe working practices IT literate A thorough understanding of the CDM Regulations and provision of Planning Supervisor service Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience as a Safety Adviser/Planning Supervisor NEBOSH General & Construction Certificate preferred Team Player but able to manage individual workload Adaptable to deadlines Self motivated, good interpersonal skills and ability to represent the company and interact with a range of ClientsDischarging Statutory Planning Supervisory and Health and Safety duties including:- HSE Notifications Meeting/liaising with Designers to ensure they comply with their duties Reviewing Designers Risk Assessments Reviewing Health and Safety competency/resources Preparing pre-tender stage Health and Safety Plans Reviewing Principal Contractors Health and Safety Plans Ensuring Health and Safety Files are prepared Providing consultancy and in house advice on all aspects of CDM/Construction SafetyGeneral:-Hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to FridayHolidays: Between 24 and 30 days depending upon years of service.Salary: Negotiable depending upon age and experience
