A leading consultancy is seeking to recruit a Planner, with a main contractor background, to work in their specialist Legal Support Services department. The practice operates globally from their offices in the UK. The consultancy has a strong history in the construction industry and was established in 1946. They are multi-disciplinary and are involved in projects in almost every area of the market. The work that you will be involved in is likely to be forensic planning and ideally you will have a planning background and have several years experience in this area. The consultancy that you will be working for is an independent expert in the construction sector and their experience in the legal sector often enables them to broker a settlement without recourse to legal action.You need to be a good solid all round that has a strong background in planning. The department that you will become a part of has 6 people and due to rising work loads is steadily growing. The role will involve dealing with contentious matters for the Legal Support Services this will involve delays on existing or completed construction projects. Salary is negotiable and will be in line with market rates. You will also be entitled to a comprehensive benefits package too.
