As part of their global expansionthey are seeking a Physical & Information Security Manager with at least 5 years experience in Information Security.This will concentrate on performance of information security audits, risk assessments, gap analysis and continuousmonitoring of emerging security.The physical security responsibilities of this position comprise of management of all physical security aspects at anumber of disparate sites in the UK and includes management of outsourced security, CCTV and access control equipmentmaintenance contracts etc.The primary role of this position is to identify, record and resolve physical and data security issues and will includethe production, development and delivery of Information Security and awareness training.Your mandatory skills and experience should include a good working knowledge and understanding of Security Managementacross networking, OS, DB and application technologies. Specifically Win 2k, XP, 2003, Linux Redhat, HP-UX, Oracle, IIS,apache etc. Familiarity of a wide range of security technologies: Firewalls, Intrusion detection, PKI, Encryption,Vulnerability scanning and analysis, AV and malicious code, access control systems, physical security procedures etc.Desirable Skills and ExperienceCISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, CCIE security certifications are an advantage.As suggested, you will need to be an excellent communicator with mid to high-level management experience, and will be aresults driven individual. It is essential that you are resilient and able to cope under pressure.
