Pharmacy Manager Ashford CrooksfootJob Purpose:To provide an efficient pharmacy service within the nation's No 1 supermarket chain combining dispensing and OTC supplywith the new challenges of pharmacy within the new NHS.Accountabilities:You will be accountable for the smooth running of your department and for ensuring that our customers always receive afirst-class service. You will be supported by trained pharmacy assistants and dispensers plus key personnel throughoutthe store who will help you with stock control, cashing up, personnel issues and training. You will have the opportunityto become involved with local pharmacy services, building relationships with other healthcare professionals and the localcommunity. You will also have the chance to help build our Complementary Medicines offer through in-store activities andusing our web-based Nutricentre@Tesco business. Throughout your career you will have access to management andprofessional skills training.Personal Profile:You must have a pharmacy degree and be eligible to be a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Youwill have good communication skills, a desire to coach and develop others and be committed to your own personaldevelopment. Previous experience as a pre-registration tutor would be desirable but not essential. The position isfull-time with the option of a 36, 39 or 42 hour week. Part-time or job-share applicants will be considered.
