Pharmacist - HuddersfieldJob Purpose:To work as part of the team providing an efficient pharmacy service within the nation's No 1 supermarket chain. The rolecombines dispensing and OTC supply with the new challenges of pharmacy within the new NHS.Accountabilities:You will be providing support for the pharmacy manager and assisting in the smooth running of the department. You will besupported by trained pharmacy assistants and dispensers plus key personnel throughout the store who will help you withstock control, cashing up, personnel issues and training. You will have the opportunity to become involved with localpharmacy services, building relationships with other healthcare professionals and the local community. You will also havethe chance to help build our Complementary Medicines offer through in-store activities and using our web-basedNutricentre@Tesco business. Throughout your career you will have access to management and professional skills training.Personal Profile:You must have a pharmacy degree and be eligible to be a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Youwill have good communication skills, a desire to coach and develop others and be committed to your own personaldevelopment. Previous experience as a pre-registration tutor would be desirable but not essential. The position isfull-time with the option of a 36, 39 or 42 hour week. Part-time or job-share applicants will be considered.
