Description:

A leading firm of Construction Consultants is seeking to recruit a Party Wall Surveyor to join their expanding team in their Essex head office. Ideally you will have substantial Party Wall experience. You may have a Building Surveying background but this is not essential. The salary will be competitive and as a maximum will be up to GBP 45k including benefits. Your duties will include Preliminary Audits and reports on projects at scheme design stage in order to warn of likely requirements. You will also be called upon to investigate the interest in title of adjoining buildings via the Land registry and the building owners deeds. You must draft and serve Party Wall notices as well as compiling regular written progress reports to developers and advise on progress. All of your duties must be carried out in compliance with the Party Wall Act 1996. Ideally you will be a chartered surveyor however this is not essential and neither is having a building surveying background.
