Working for a large Environmantal Asbestos Consultancy in Cardiff, South Wales. Undertaking Asbestos Surveys to MDHS100(T1,T2 & T3) as an Asbestos Lead Surveyor. To provide ad hoc asbestosconsultancy advice to customers. All work to be in accord with our company system which has UKAS Accreditation. Seek newwork with existing and new customers throughout the UK (annualre-surveys, management plans, managing asbestos databases.Job Description:Undertake Asbestos Surveys to MDHS100 (T1,T2 & T3) as a Lead Surveyor.Prepare reports, Asbestos Management Plans and provide ad hoc asbestosconsultancy advice to customers. All work to be in accord with our companysystem which has UKAS Accreditation to ISO 17020 and BSI Accreditation toISO 9001:2000.Seek new work with existing and new customers throughout the UK (annual re-surveys, management plans, managing asbestosdatabases, advising onasbestos management, project managing encapsulation / removal of asbestos projects) when in contact with customers(Whilst undertaking surveys etc)QUALIFICATIONS:-Essential -Engineering or Environmental or Occupational Health and Safety DegreeP402 BOHS Competant Person for Buildings Survey and Bulk Sampling forAsbestos.Desirable -P405 BOHS Competant Person for Managment of Asbestos in BuildingsS301 BOHS Competant Person for Asbestos and other FibresP403 BOHS Competant Person for Asbestos Fibre Counting (PCM)MIOSHEXPERIENCE:-Essential -2+ years as an Asbestos SurveyorExperience of T2 and T3 surveys in Domestic, Education and Office typebuildingsDesirable -Laboratory experience in analysing asbestos samplesExperience working for Asbestos Removal Contractor1+ years managing Asbestos Surveyor Teams and survey projects for clientsExperience of T2 and T3 survey in Industrial, Retail, Leisure and Healthtype buildings.PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:-To be good presenter to clientsTo be able to organise teams from different offices and motivatethe staff to get results without sacrificing quality of service.
