Product Marketing Manager EMEALocation: UKSalary Guide: GBP 60,000 with excellent benefit packageMain Purpose of Job:Responsibilities include development and implementation of the "go to market" strategy for the our client's product linefor EMEA. This includes defining the products and services needed to succeed in our key vertical markets, telco/serviceprovider and finance.Reports to the Marketing Director EMEA for our client's.Scope of the Job:Understand product/solution current market position and assess that against future market trends and direction.Analyse, understand and document market opportunities with particular reference to the key markets of Telco/ServiceProvider and Finance.Develop product/solution value propositions and positioning materials.Produce sales collateral, white papers and presentation materialsWork closely with management to create an integrated product marketing plan that supports regional and company widecorporate objectives.Identify integrated lead generation programme within target markets, in conjunction with direct sales.Act a solution evangelist to create interest in and demand for solutions at events and in the mediaQualifications and Specialist Skills:Bachelor degree in marketing, engineering, computer science or similar fieldMBA is a plusLanguage skills desirableExperience:5-7 Years of Product Marketing experience preferably in the IT or Telecom marketExperience with product launches and marketing programsBackground in working for an OSS software vendorExcellent knowledge of OSS and telco market and trendsProduct marketing, implementation or pre-sales experienceEvangelist role, public speaking at eventsPersonal Aptitudes and Behaviours (competencies):Excellent Communication Skills including presentation and business writing skillsSolid Understanding of Industry TrendsProject management skills to work with multi-functional teams, spanning product management, engineering, sales and allmarketing functionsAbility to research, define and prioritise key product requirements.Excellent communication and presentation skillsSelf motivation and can-do attitude***** heads up information ***** Ideally you will be able to demonstrate an ability to write a white paper on how our client should be positioningthemselves in the OSS marketplace. A clear understanding of OSS products, how they work and why they are needed. Active knowledge of websites such as tmforum.org Understanding of key players in the OSS marketplace.
