Oracle Production DBA Lancashire, North West This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced production DBA to work on and influence the implementation of major new systems. These are large scale systems being implemented on Sun Solaris platforms using Oracle 9i, RAC and Data Guard. We are looking for an experienced Production DBA with at least three years experience in implementing, tuning and maintaining large scale Oracle systems. The work involves physical design, implementation, system and software upgrades, monitoring usage and performance, bug fixing, back-up and recovery and change control. The team provide 24*7 cover on a rota basis.
