Description:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:To provide consistent and professional first line support to end users, to effectively maintain standing data and datastructures and to provide end users with reports/queries.RESPONSIBILITIES:To provide professional first line support to end users on all UK sites.To liaise with helpdesk and support on incidents.To support the integration of Oracle instances, including development of business process, defining and carrying outsystems change, developing test scripts, conducting and documenting end user testing.To test and maintain interfaces between Oracle Purchasing and other applications (mTMS, Oracle Manufacturing, Payablesand General Ledger).To develop use of budgets, encumberances and funds checking.To develop and enhance business processes and documentation of processes.To develop and enhance end user documentation.To train and support new users on all UK sites.To deliver end user reporting requests/queries using a range of reporting tools.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Essential:Strong working knowledge of Oracle Purchasing.Desirable:Experience in report writing using SQL, Discoverer or similar reporting tools.Experience with other Oracle applications preferably Projects or Financials (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,Fixed Assets and General Ledger) in an 11i environment (preferably 11.5.8 or later).
