Our client is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of components modules and subsystems for optical networks. Theyare now searching for a Reliability Engineer to be responsible for the reliability assurance of opto-electronic productsincluding semiconductor components and electronic modules. The role will involve co-ordinating reliability engineering,reliability evaluation and qualification of opto products. Consideration of product ageing characteristics, accelerationfactors, interconnection reliability will be required.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications;- Optic-electronic reliability and qualification experience- Knowledge of opto electronic component, design, processing and operation- RoHS and lead free experience- Telcordia standard knowledge- BSc .degree in engineering, physics, chemistry or material sciencePlease call to discuss further.
