Business development manager, GBP 30,000 basic, GBP 40,000 OTE uncapped, pension, private health, career progression, BDM, Field Sales, office furniture, education, London, UK Our client makes office furniture and accessories (what the company calls "workplace solutions") for businesses and schools in the UK. Its products include desks, storage, seating, and cubicle dividers; it also offers furniture leasing. In 2005 our client launched its first retail web site. Founded in 1952 our client is a market leader in the industry. The role is field based and involves maintaining current client accounts and developing new business. You will be expected to liaise with clients within your allocated territory, nurture existing relationships and cross sell to gaps in the market. You will also be expected to generate new leads by networking and lead sourcing and developing new business accounts. To have the job you will have at least 3 years sales experiences selling in to education. You will also be well spoken, articulate and energetic. Further you will be analytical, resourceful and be able to demonstrate entrepreneur skills. You will also have a successful proven track record. On offer to the successful candidate is the opportunity to work for a market leader in the industry. A basic of GBP 25k-GBP 30k is provided with an OTE of GBP 35k-GBP 40k.
