FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FOR A LEADING MANUFACTURER OF HIGHLY RECOGNISED CONFECTIONARY PRODUCTS SELLING TO GROCERY MULTIPLES: "25-40K BASE + 45-50K OTE + CAR. Our client is one of the UK's premier providers of an interesting and innovative range of highly recognisable "Confectionery" aimed at consumers of all ages, tastes and persuasions. Following a recent internal promotion, they now require the industry experienced services of a Key Account Manager to help drive sales throughout select Major Grocery Multiples and Wholesalers. Able to get to their Watford office twice a week and reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing relationships with an established client base of Wholesalers and Grocery Multiple Retailers (e.g. Tesco, Somerfields, Sainsbury's, Ice-Land etc). This will involve ensuring all clients are up to date on stock requirements, informed of special deals, pricing and promotions etc. You will also be involved in negotiating agreements for increasing the number of product lines listed. Although the organization has a strong positioning in the market, you will be the key player in the company when it comes to seeking new markets and opportunities in underdeveloped markets. You will also have strong presentation skills and a good commercial acumen. The successful applicant will have strong professional presentation and communication skills and display an ability to influence at a senior level. National accounts or Key Account exposure is also a must, as you will have to hit the ground running. Your innovative ideas and pro-active work habits will be valued and your knowledge of the FMCG (i.e. specifically selling confectionary products) industry will assist you in taking this market leader to a further level of market dominance. Our client is determined to get the right person to take their new product to the marketplace and as such are will to offer a generous base salary (GBP 25-40K Negotiable based on experience) will be offered together with a fully maintained company vehicle and uncapped commission structure (GBP 45-50K OTE).
