Description:

You will become an active member of the technical support team, where you will be the principle technical contact forcustomers as well as a resource for projects and migrations. Duties will range from first line support to hands-on faultresolution/escalation. This places you in front of various technologies from printers to inter office communicationsutilising the latest in VPN technology. The ideal candidate must have the following:* Minimum of 2 years' experience of working in Windows Environment, including installation, administration and supportalso including Microsoft desktop applications* Manage Windows server infrastructure (including 2000/2003 OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Group policy and useradministration)* Min of 2 years' experience of diagnosis and troubleshooting on systems & software including Server, Desktop, laptop andPDA (Blackberry)* Excellent knowledge of networking and configuring VPNs and routers. IP experience essential* Veritas Backup Exec* McAfee suite of applicationsIn addition, experience with the following technologies will be considered a bonus: Blackberry Enterprise Server,Watchguard Firewalls, Macintosh OS X, Wireless networks, SQL or other relational database (RDBMS) experience. Preferablyyou are MCP qualified, working to MCSE. You should have good verbal and written communication and the ability to workwell under pressure and have English as a main language.The successful applicant will benefit from a salary of GBP 20,000-GBP 35,000 along with 20 days' Holiday plus Pension schemeafter qualifying period.
