You will need to demonstrate industry knowledge and the ability to keep up to date with allemerging technologies and design techniques.The RequirementsExperience3 - 4 years as a Graphic Designer. 2 years within the New Media industry. You will be able to demonstrate your experiencethrough both your offline and online (including URL's) portfolio's.Education:Graduate with 2:1 or equivalent in relevant courseTechnical Abilities: Mac and PC literate Proven track record of online design An understanding of W3C usability Background Knowledge of PrintExpert level knowledge with the following software: Adobe Photoshop ver. 5.5+. Adobe Illustrator ver.8.0+ Macromedia Flash 5+ (Preferably Action Script Knowledge)Core SkillsYou will have a sound understanding of design for interactive media.You will be proactive and able to manage your own time to ensure delivery of projects within defined timescales.You will have excellent communication skills (graphical, verbal and written).You will be anenthusiastic team player, and also be able to work alone when required.You will have a keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail.You will have a flexible approach and be able to cope with several projects at any one time.Ability to create quick sketches, which demonstrate your illustrative skills and creativity. |
