: In a pre-sales role: Understand business and user requirements to produce solution designs (including associated architectures) to support them Lead activities such as designing and delivering presentations Contribute on business and lead on technical aspects of Sales Proposals Provide effort estimates and identify activities for MS based implementations including integrations In a delivery and support role: Take responsibility for aspects of the technical solution during implementation to ensure business and user requirements are met using MS applications and associated integrations using MS technologies Resolve production issues maintaining a high level of service to our customers Provide advice and guidance on best practice and technologies to other consultants on MS technologies and MS based integrations Design, develop and deliver MS based applications and integrations to support product based solutions / integrations Understand and identify appropriate data migration strategies Produce high quality documentation The candidate will, after a suitable period, receive training in various products that form the kernel of our solutions to enable them to expand the range of implementations they can become involved in. Essential Skills: Experience of MS Technologies, such as, but not limited to: NET applications and architectures (XML, C#, VB.NET), SOAP/Webservices) Sharepoint Biztalk Experience of Service Oriented Architecture Experience of designing and implementing the aspects of solutions and architectures that support high transaction volumes Experience of designing and implementing the aspects of solutions and architectures that support transaction data security (in the financial sector would be an advantage) Must have a driving Licence, travel throughout the UK will be required and European travel may also be required.
