: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to work for an innovative and vibrant company revolutionising traditional processing industries. The unique ability of their processing solution is to carry out a number of processing stages (e.g. mixing, heating and pumping) all in one unit which reduces time and cost drastically and creates huge opportunities for their customers. You will be working in partnership with the IP Manager to capture IP across the companys activities including R&D, Engineering and customer focussed programmes. You will liaise closely with the companys patent agents to prepare and file new patents and to manage the patent portfolio and IP budget. Successful candidates must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering along with 3 years post graduate experience including knowledge of IP protection and patent filing processes. Experience in the process or fire suppression industries as well as knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics or aerodynamics will prove highly advantageous.
