Description:

Mechanical Design Engineer is required for our Client who is a specialist engineering business with an enviablereputation for quality. They design and build spraying, cutting and grating machinery for the food industry withprinciple focus in the bakery, snacks and cheese sectors.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years design experience using CAD/CAE, experience in pump and pipe work systems,experience in design of conveyors, understanding of pneumatics and circuit design, confident with IT packages and able toproduce technical manuals for equipment.Desirables:Experience in design and build of equipment for the food processing industryKnowledge of ME10 CAD design softwareConfidence to design motor control circuits up to 400v 3 phase and both relay and PLC control circuits that comply withboth the client and national standards.Conveyor design and build for the packaging or food processing sectorKnowledge of the Festo range of pneumaticsPro-active nature which suggests candidate is able to keep him/herself busyPackage:Salary 18-23K depending on experience37.5 hours per week.Overtime package25 days holiday.Private medical.Death in service cover.Company pension.
