Description:

The company is the UK's biggest and fastest growing IT reseller, specialising in the sale of IT hardware, software, peripherals, solutions and services. My client is looking for a marketing candidate to work as a 'Product Manager'. Main emphasis is to conduct and contribute to tactical marketing activity in order to drive category sales and margin. Responsibilities include; from information on product and services specifications provided by suppliers, manufacturers or Buyers the jobholder will define the pagination and range content of the Definitive Buyers Guide, and ensure that the production process is delivered to the defined deadlines in conjunction with the Product Database Administrator. Liase with Brand Marketing to provide product information for external marketing activities such as mailers, fax shots, eshots, etc..Define, organise and administer internal marketing events such as Blitz days. Communicate category news internally such as key deals, new products, incentive programmes, etc. Conduct regular price benchmarking through activities such as conducting comparisons with competitors web sites in order to produce regular summary lists for the Product and Category Managers. Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of promotional activity carried out for their category. Identify opportunities for incremental revenue and introduce products / services that compliment the opportunity.
