Description:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:Manage the manufacture of company aligner wafer bonders & embossers. This involves assembly, fabrication, design changes,liaison with suppliers, stock control, commissioning, servicing and customer support.Responsibility for purchasing & maintaining the stock of all components used in manufacture.Quality system Documentation: Responsibility for implementing & updating procedures for e.g. assembly, testing andcommissioningContribute to the design of the bonder machines, mainly Mechanical, although some electrical experience desirableImplementation of Health & Safety at work and ensuring compliance of equipment with relevant EC legislationResponsible for after sales service: Installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of equipment. Liaison withcustomers.Person specification:Science or Engineering degree, Physics, electrical engineering or similarExperience of mechanical design with some electrical experienceHands on experience with assembly of electro / mechanical equipment, and practical knowledge of either semiconductor,vacuum equipment or instrumentation.An assertive person with people skills and an ability to deal effectively with suppliers & customers, directors & staff.Experience in the management of the manufacturing of low volume, high tech equipment.Ability to manage a team and willingness to be part of a team getting involved and helping out as required.Good organizer, methodical and meticulous, experience of quality systems doe not mind paperwork!Special requirements: Availability and willingness to travel abroad
