Our Client, a specialist contractor in the oil, gas and petrochem industry, is seeking a Manager Document Management to start as soon as possible. Experience/Qualifications: Ten or more years progressive applicable experience with at least five years experience at a supervisory level. Skilled in the establishment and operation of computer systems. Preferably degree level qualification or equivalent technical ability developed through practical experience gained in the appropriate discipline. Able to liaise effectively; interview and select personnel; influence personnel assigned to projects to adopt standard work processes and systems. Manage personnel in core gruop to direct department development. Job Scope Responsible for management, development, implementation and co-ordination of the document and data management function. Responsible for documenting quality system, document and data control procedures and their development, issue, maintenance and control. Responsible for the Development and Implementation of Systems required to manage documentation and data. Responsible for training and development of staff. Preparation of manhour estimate for proposals and projects and provide input to proposals as required. Plan and implement technical audits. Maintain develop and improve work processes and systems. Ensure the Company Document Management Sysetms are utilised throughout all projects. Implement performance evaluation of personnel and develop personnel through direct counselling etc. Perform technical interviews and provide input to staff selection. Manage development budgets. Salary: GBP 43000 - GBP 48000 per annum
