Our client, a global car rental firm who have 10 operating groups in the UK alone, is seeking Management Trainees to bebased in a number of branches across Scotland including Inverness, Dumfries, Aberdeen, Motherwell and Edinburgh.The MT performs duties in all aspects of the branch in order to become familiar with line and staff functions,operations, company policies and practices that affect each aspect of the business.Daily activities will include: Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and/or byphone Understand, communicate and sell optional protection products, rental terms and conditions, vehicle features andbenefits, fuel options and additional equipment Assist in Branch sales and marketing efforts to increase business and income Apply appropriate rental charges and handle all forms of customer payment Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue training and development opportunities, and attend requiredcompany-sponsored training classesThe trainee will be involved in a varied formal training schedule, including an assignment designed to generally educateand gear them towards fast tracking to branch management. Upon completion of each phase of training throughout the firstyear you will receive a bonus of GBP 300, totalling GBP 1,200 on top of your annual salary. In addition you will receive a company car at Branch Management level.GraduatesThe ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree and/or equivalent educational background. Theywill have knowledge of sales techniques, and the ability and drive to excel in a competitive environment whilst meetingtargets. As the role will be varied, the candidate must have strong time management skills, attention to detail andcapability to handle multiple tasks and problem solve. Work experience in either customer service or sales is requiredwith knowledge of sales principles and working to targets. Relevant experience includes, face-to-face sales, telesales,call centre and retail sales. All candidates must have had a full driving licence for a minimum of 6 months, ideally withno more than 3 points. As the role will be varied, the candidate must have strong time management skills, attention to detailand capability to handle multiple tasks and problem solve. All candidates must have had a full driving licence for aminimum of 6 months, ideally with no more than 3 points.
