It has a turnover in the region of GBP 2.5 million with export salesto some 40 countries exceeding GBP 1.5 million. We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant who is seeking a forwardthinking company. This company will spearhead growth through acquisition so there is real room for career growth.We are seeking a person with a Minimum of 5 years Management Accountant experience, ideally from a manufacturingenvironment. You will have a formal accountancy qualification (ACCA or better) and proven people skills (does not need tobe direct management but must be able to get the best out of people at all levels). You will of course have provenability to think strategically and make forward thinking recommendations. You are highly organized.Job Purpose Overall responsibility for the accounting functions within the company Proactive member of the management team with active participation in the business strategy formulation andimplementation process. Management of the companys computerised accounting system comprising sales ledger, purchase ledger, nominal ledger,stock control, bill of materials, sales order processing, purchase order processing. Timely production of full monthly management accounts and preparation of monthly financial reporting pack for parentcompany. Management of manufacturing costing system including monthly variance analyses Preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts Responsibility for VAT returns and other governmental reporting requirements Assumption of office management role in absence of MD Possible assumption of duties of Company SecretaryQuestor operates as a recruitment business
