Description:

Our Client an international oil/gas design and construction contractor is seeking a Senior Safety Analytical Engineer anda Lead Safety Analytical Engineer to start as soon as possible.Job Scope:Shall be able to lead a team of Safety engineers involved in the design (FEED) phase of a major oil and gas project.Shall be able to demonstrate proven leadership ability and experience to lead the team to:Carry out consequence modelling of safety related events to support the preparation of functional specifications.Prepare functional specifications for active and passive fire protection systems and fire and gas detection systems.Prepare functional specifications and cause and effect diagrams for emergency shutdown systems.Prepare scope documents for QRA studies.Prepare equipment datasheets for safety and fire fighting equipment.Be able to set SIL levels to IEC 61508 guidelines.Establish electrical hazard area classifications.Experience:Must have recent proven leadership skills.Must have recent experience of all of the above job scope.Duration: Either permanent or long term contract whichever you prefer.Salary: GBP 38000 to GBP 46000 per annum.Rate: GBP 41 to 43 per hour Ltd Company rate
