Our client is one of the world leading design and construction companies working in Gas, Oil, Petrochemical industries.They operate worldwide with corporate head offices in London.The candidate shall be able to lead a team of Safety engineers involved in the design (FEED) phase of a major Oil and Gasproject.The candidate shall be able to demonstrate proven leadership ability and experience to lead the team to:Carry out consequence modelling of safety related events to support the preparation of functional specifications.Prepare functional specifications for active and passive fire protection systems and fire and gas detection systems.Prepare functional specifications and cause and effect diagrams for emergency shutdown systems.Prepare scope documents for QRA studies.Prepare equipment data sheets for safety and fire fighting equipmentBe able to set SIL levels to IEC 61508 guidelines.Establish electrical hazard area classifications.Salary - GBP 40-52kRate GBP 48 52 p.h.
