: Reporting to the Supply Chain manager, this position will take a leading role in the strategic procurement and supply-chain activities. Specifically, the role will encompass vendor selection for major new-build projects with an emphasis on developing and implementing through-life logistic support. Essential requirements are: Extensive experience of vendor analysis and selection Ability to implement and monitor vendor-improvement programmes Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels Contract and schedule preparation/review Experience of supply-chains, 'leaning' activities and supplier sourcing/relationship challenges Familiarity with the use of forecasting models Excellent training and support will be given by vastly experienced supply chain professionals offering you a fantastic opportunity for personal and career development.
