In more detail the role will involve managing and carrying out the design of architectural projects including:The delivery of projects within programme and cost constraints, responsibility for technical content/quality of projectdeliverables and preparing feasibility studies.Additionally assisting with the preparation of contract documents and the management of external sub-consultants andcontractors. There is also the supervision of junior architects and technicians and it is expected that you will have theability to work on your own initiative for an internal client as well as undertaking the role of architect on a varietyof projects working with internal multi-disciplinary design teams and external design organisations. This role may alsoinvolve overseas assignments for short periods of time.It is expected that you will be a fully registered Architect (ARB) and have at least 10 years experience in the designand management of architectural works.A good working knowledge of all environment design codes of practice and Construction Regulations is required. Experiencein the use of overseas design codes of practice and Construction Regulations would be an advantage.It is hoped that you will have very strong graphic skills and be AutoCAD proficient. Additionally you must have designflair and the ability to creatively resolve problems, undertake project design and have a commitment to explore andpromote new approaches to design solutions.The company are 1000 strong in the UK and are engaged in a wide range of of professional disciplines.
