Laboratory Supervisor (Scotland), Ref: 12708Our Scotland based client supply a range of specialist fluids to the Oil and Gas Industry.They are actively looking for a Laboratory Supervisor to join their team and be responsible for the continued analysisand improvement of their product range.The main duties for this role will be: -- Support Lab Manager in co-ordinating and managing laboratory activities- Make recommendations for equipment performance issues- Perform testing to specific standards, procedures and protocols as well as specialised analytical techniques- Assist with audits, QA and calibrations- Deal with customer queries and ensure timely sample deliveriesThe successful candidate will ideally be a Graduate in Chemistry or related subject with a minimum of 2 years drillingfluid and equipment maintenance experience, preferably from the chemical or process manufacturing sector. He / she musthave demonstrated and proven capabilities in analytical testing and managing a workload on a day-to-day basis.In addition he/she must be computer literate and have excellent communication skills.This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to GBP 30000 (depending on skills, experience and education).
