: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a junior import merchandiser to join one of the leading junior ladies fashion suppliers to the high street, working within a young, dynamic and modern environment. Reporting in to the Senior Merchandiser, key responsibilities for the role include: Preparation of orders and product information required by factories. Organise lab dips submission and approval. Production planning and monitoring of work in progress to ensure required deadlines are met and required quality levels are maintained. Liaising with other members of the team to ensure correct fit, quality and construction of garments. Reporting on work in progress and shipment schedules. Preparation of import documentation. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree standard not necessarily within a fashion related degree and be highly motivated and able to use your initiative in supporting the Senior Merchandiser.
