Job PurposeAn Analyst Programmer is required to join the eOperations team to provide support, enhancement and development skills tothe unit. Initially these skills will be provided to a large energy supply company to help maintain and support a leadingedge application.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities are: * Develop and test enhancements according to project specification and standards * Comply with all company and unit processes * Resolution of incidents within the targets defined in the Client contract Service Level Agreement * Contribute to post event analysis following severe incidents * Implementation of application code / data releases, fixes and enhancements * Proactively identify service improvementsSpecial ConsiderationsThe role is based primarily in Warwick but may involve periods of secondment to Accenture development teams and clientsites as required.There is also a requirement to be a member of a 24*7 on-call rota for the support of high priority issues outside of corehours.Qualifications * Educated to degree level or equivalent (Computer related degree course) * Must have 2 years' commercial experience. * Must have experience of Java (J2EE) and Oracle * Weblogic, Broadvision & Unix experience are desirableAccenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.
