Description:

A national organisation based near Farnborough, Hampshire is currently recruiting for an experienced IT Helpdesk Manager,someone who has at least 6 years in IT and with a minimum of 3 years experience at Helpdesk Manager level. You will beresponsible for a team of 13 staff including 1st & 2nd Line Helpdesk Engineers & Helpdesk Team Leader. The role requiressomeone who has excellent managerial, mentoring & leadership abilities, you must also still technically hands-on whenrequired. The environment consists of Windows 2000/03 O/S and Microsoft software applications/products, MS Office2000/2003, Remedy call logging system, RAS, ACD system, preferably holding current MCSE and additional working knowledgeof Server administration & Networking would be extremely useful, however your managerial experience is the key. The rightperson must have a proven background of managing a successful Helpdesk, SLAs & targets met, writing business processes,experience of team development both technically (training budget available) & personally, helpdesk efficiency, projectdriven, confident with excellent interpersonal & communication skills & staff management.
