Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, English and Italian speaking, Purchase ledger clerk to join the Italian team.You will have responsibility for the input, administration and verification of Italian purchase invoices, as well as maintaining accurate information within the system to comply with Italian fiscal regulations.Your responsibilities will include:Verifying and processing vendor invoices and preparing for payment, ensuring that they are posted to the correct General Ledger accountLiaising with both internal and external customers in a proactive manner, demonstrating good communication skills and ensuring excellent customer serviceProducing vendor statement reconciliations (including contact with vendors, where necessary)Creating electronic payment runs Assisting in administration of travel and expenses Ensuring that vendor master data is properly maintained and that all changes are appropriately authorized.To apply you must be fluent in both English and Italian. You must be numerate and detail conscious. You will also be liaising with both internal and external customers on a regular basis and will need excellent customer service skills. Experience in working with a computerised accounts payable system is essential. In return you will receive a competitive salary up to GBP 20,000 along with many additional benefits.
