: IT Services Manager to be responsible for the specification, development and maintenance of the corporate IT systems and the management of a team of 10 in a leading technology/innovation group. You will be a graduate with a system understanding of IT infrastructure and good communication and management skills. Experience in at least 4 of the following: networks, security policies/practices, Desktops, OS (Unix, Server 2003, Linux, XP), OA applications, Notes and IT asset management is essential. You will be involved in a wide range of work: IT Support of a diverse community of users; specification, procurement and configuration and maintenance of users machines; specification and development of Lotus Notes systems to support business functions; and development of network infrastructure and working practices to ensure network security. Specific responsibilities include: planning and managing an IT budget of several hundred thousand pounds per year; keeping abreast of IT Technology and how this can be harnessed to support the business; and representing developments to the user community to gain buy-in to change. You will organise the IT team to deliver support to a large user community and to deliver projects to enhance the groups IT infrastructure; select and develop IT staff; and participate in and lead specific IT projects as relevant to own experience and skill set. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications but is likely to be in the range GBP 40-50K. There is relocation assistance where applicable and profit share and other benefits.
