Large world leading DTV software company in Berkshire requires experienced Security Manager with exposure across networking, OS, DB, and applications specifically on Windows and Unix technologies. The role will concentrate on performance on information security audits, risk assessment, gap analysis, and continuous monitoring of security vulnerability, developing practices and procedures according to global standards, although ideal applicants are likely to have come up through the hands on route. You experience will be in physical and data security risks and common vulnerabilities and technologies including firewalls. Intrusion detection, PKI, Encryption, vulnerability scanning and analysis although this is does not involve hands on configuration and admin of the systems. This is a highly challenging role and will offer diverse range of responsibilities as you will be part of a team, and will require a highly motivated individual who is results driven and has project management skills. Qualification is CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC would also be an advantage and you should be degree educated.
