Description:

An experienced IT project manager is required for the definition, installation and commissioning of a major technicalshop floor data collection programme. You must be able to work with shop floor operators, technical staff and an ITcontracting company to analyse data collection requirements and propose solutions.Owning and developing the specification to meet the business need you will plan and implement these solutions and ensurethat support procedures are in place, delivering the hardware and software to time, budget and specification.The work is concerned with grinding, Electro-Discharge Machining (EDM), Stereo Lithography Apparatus (SLA), and laserdrilling operations. Prior knowledge of these processes would be an advantage.Having at least 5 years experience in similar roles you will need to be flexible and adaptable with a hands-on approach,possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, take ownership of problems and ensure their timely and costeffective resolution. You will be responsible for directing a small team of people to achieve a successful outcome.Experience of delivering IT solutions in technical &/or manufacturing based environments, preferably including successfulcompletion of a quality gated process or certified project management routeDemonstrated project management skills showing an ability to prioritise and work on several tasks simultaneously to tightdeadlinesGood problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability for innovative thinkingSelf-motivated with an ability to work unsupervised and make good judgements based available dataGood team player focused on achievement with the drive to satisfy the customerA knowledge of shop floor IT systems from equipment transducer to analysis package
