Description:

Major global organisation has an urgent requirement for a data centre IT manager. On a daily basis you will be managing a team of 20 that provide operational support and maintenance to all servers, storage and backup infrastructures across their UK network. In addition to the operations management responsibilities you will be responsible for budgets, supplier management and leading this key business area. The successful applicant will have proven IT operations management skills and be articulate and a naturally effective communicator. On the technology side you are likely to be familiar with Enterprise level solutions (WINTEL, UNIX, ORACLE, SAP), SANs, and IT security. Any project management experience or accreditation would also be an advantage. There is a requirement for security clearance (to SC Level) for this role
