International Sales EngineerSalary: 35k to 40k basic + OTE + benefitsOur client designs and manufactures one of the most comprehensive ranges of video and audio products available, providing interfacing, multiplexing and conversion to the highest broadcasting standards.Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Broadcast Sales Executive with a good technical background in the Broadcast field.Prime Responsibilities- Working closely with existing EMEA distributors and directly with major broadcasters and systems integrators as required. Particular exposure is required within the U.S and Singapore- Introduction and technical demonstration of new products to distributors and directly with end users- Technical demonstration of video processing equipment and control software.- Preparation of technical and commercial responses to tenders.- Attendance of key exhibitions, both UK and abroad and follow up of exhibition leads.- Liaise with Sales Support to provide high level of customer support and satisfaction.- Prepare monthly forecast, updated weekly on current EMEA projects.Essential Skills and Experience- At least 2 years proven track record of sales with international distributors to the TV Broadcast Industry- Degree/HND in electronic engineering or scientific discipline.- Very good technical knowledge of broadcast equipment, probably working as a broadcast design engineer in the recent past.- Good understanding of serial digital video and PAL/NTSC standards and embedded audio and its implications in broadcasting systems.- Overview knowledge of how a broadcasting infrastructure functions.- Good computer skills, Word, Excel, Outlook.Desirable Skills and Experience-Direct exposure to the US and Asian market places would be a distinct advantage.
