Our client, who currently has a new opportunity in their finance department, has an extensive $10 billion turnover and is a world leader in the specialist-manufacturing arena. A fantastic new role has arisen for a recently- qualified ACA or equivalent to join their European Internal Audit department to be based in Berkshire. This is a challenging and exciting role where you will conduct audits and operational reviews internally within the numerous divisions of this hugely successful conglomerate. Working in a team of two or more, your travel will be predominantly in Europe, based around Monday/Friday flights with every weekend at home. Essentially you can anticipate working away every second week, however the time away will not exceed 60% and your time in the UK is subject to a very impressive flexi-time hours. As this organisation requires a level of commitment, you will not only be conducting international audits but you will also be involved in conducting acquisition reviews and due diligence work, as well as some accounts disclosures work.ACA, ACCA, Internal Audit, Operational ReviewYou will be ACA (or equivalent) with excellent technical ability and an ambition to progress to a more in-depth and consultative Internal Audit function. Any knowledge of a second European language would be advantageous but not essential.
