Description:

1. Main Purpose of Job To organise the Sales Territory and support your Sales Executive, ensuring that Company Sales and Profit Targets areachieved - and exceeded! To learn all aspects of the packaging distribution business. To liaise with Transport and Logistics Department to ensure 24/48 hr delivery schedule is maintained. To be responsible for the development of all staff directly or indirectly supervised. To be responsible for the development of others by passing on your experience to any relevant staff.2. Position in Organisation Directly responsible to:Sales Office Manager where in situ, or directly to the Regional Business Manager.3. Limits of AuthorityAuthority to: Discuss prices with Customers. Responsibility to review quotations & tenders sent out with Regional Sales Manager. No Authority to agree discounted prices without Regional Sales Manager approval. No Authority: to receive or conduct any disciplinarians.Role Overview - Sales Co-ordinators Contd4. Personal Activities Work in close conjunction with Sales Executives, including joint visits where appropriate. Work in close conjunction with Transport & Logistics/Warehouse. Administer Sales and Purchase orders. Utilise excellent Customer Service standards. Develop existing accounts. Initiate mail shots and follow them up. Prospect for new accounts. Liaise with existing Suppliers. Source alternative Suppliers. Be aware of the Profit implication of selling stock as opposed to non-stock. Be aware of the cost implications of transferring goods. Chase up quotations. Process orders, enquiries, quotations, invoices. Ensure delivery dates are met. Implement the Company's ISO 9002 policy. Ensure stock levels are held at optimum levels. Be a catalyst in ensuring that Sales lead information is conveyed between Sales Executives and Drivers. Identify Potential Customers.Role Overview - Sales Co-ordinators Contd5.
