BACKGROUND INFORMATION:Our client operates a 2-tier Go to Market Strategy. There are approximately 4000 Resellers in the UK and as a result, aposition is available to drive revenue for a given geographical territory of SMB resellers.DIMENSION & SCOPE:This position is responsible for driving revenue in a business to business sales environment. You will also beresponsible for ensuring that client service levels are achieved on a consistent basis, working in a fast paced,professional and dynamic environment.The ideal individual will be highly motivated with a proven track record in achieving demanding targets individually andwith their team.The role will be split into two areas of responsibility:A. Account Manager to a territory of resellers - This will involve building and maintaining a relationship with a set ofour Clients Resellers (once evaluation of the Resellers capabilities has taken place), in order to increase the SMBClient revenue the Resellers can generate. The successful candidate will need to communicate with our Clients SMBChannel marketing messages and strategy. and also influence the Resellers business focus towards a more Client SMBstrategy. They will act as the general point of contact for the assigned Resellers, and will assist in closing networkingopportunities and will provide forecasting of opportunities on a weekly basis. They will liase with many employees of ourClient UKs operations, as well as co-ordinate with our Clients virtual team i.e Distributors and Strategic AlliancePartners.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating information regarding their set of Resellersonto Clients Contact Management Database, Goldmine.The candidate will be measured against a team target as well as an individual target, and only SMB revenue willcontribute towards their achievement.B. SMB Lead Ownership -This will involve monitoring the status of a lead/opportunity within the E-Leads Resellermatrix, taking the lead through the sales cycle, to an end status. This could involve supporting the Reseller whilst theReseller closes the lead or it may be necessary to interact with the End User and close the lead on behalf of thereseller.C. The successful candidate will be required to provide feedback on programs and marketing initiatives.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure that the SMB team achieve/exceed targets as detailed by the Client and agreed by both parties. To develop leads and revenue for new SMB clients in the UK To ensure individual targets are met on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. To ensure optimum levels of quality through all sales activity. To develop and maintain relevant industry knowledge and client specific knowledge.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate in business related subject with a minimum of 3 years business to business sales management experience.Or A minimum of 5 years sales experience gained in a fast paced business to business environment. Strong commercial acumen.CANDIDATE PROFILE: A minimum of 3-5 years sales experience, preferably gained within a high technology environment Highly self motivated Highly Organised administration and time management Ability to work under high pressure Strong communicator - rapport building and articulation of message Problem solver Creative thinker Team orientated Highly flexible and adaptable Solid account management skills Industry Knowledge Channel Knowledge Technical knowledge |
