Our client, is a US-listed world leader in the design and manufacture of complex and innovative control systems with 90 reporting branches across 26 countries. The European Internal Audit function which is headquartered in Berkshire have a opportunity for an additional member of their already 5-strong audit team.The successful candidate will be profoundly concerned with significant interface through project managers and field service leaders on the operations side of the business. The auditing side will focus on a multiplicity of finance and compliance areas including revenue recognition, contract delivery, job costing and supply management. Each field audit typically lasts between 2-3 weeks (with options to fly home each weekend) followed by 2 weeks in Berkshire to draft the report and plan the next audit. It is anticipated that this role would constitute a 2-year assignment to gain an in-depth knowledge of the business prior to moving to another higher-level line role.You will be a qualified Accountant with proven experience in either external or internal audit of large multinational companies. Knowledge of US GAAP or Sarbanes Oxley is beneficial yet not essential as training will be given. Any European languages would also prove advantageous.
