I have an outstanding opportunity with a company whose turnover now exceeds GBP 50million per year yet is still run by its founders and his family. Considered widely to be the number one supplier of coax and fibre cables, connectors, cabinets, cable managers and other services and products to all the major telecom OEM companies including BT, Nortel, Orange, Cable and Wireless as well as smaller companies who install for the big players in the market. Based out of their state of the art purpose built head quarters in Birmingham, using their excellent well maintained database of existing accounts (this is a 100% account management role) you will be keeping regular contact with your accounts quoting them for all of their hardware needs and building relationships based on delivering a high level of sales and service. I need somebody who can think outside of the box in order to up sell and cross sell the companies massive range of products all held in stock in their 100,000 sq foot warehouse and all can be delivered to the account within 24hrs. Full training will be provided and training is on going throughout the year; however you should have a slight technical slant to your skill set in order to gain a quick understanding of the products and services. Career progression into field account management, technical departments, sales management, project management or installation are some of the possible career paths they would like you to take. Maybe you currently work for an electrical wholesalers or a cable management company, or maybe you work for a telecoms OEM presently or even you may be newly qualified in electrical engineering and are looking for that new career break.
