Intermediate Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor GBP 70million ProjectLocation:West LondonRemuneration:GBP 35,000 per annum plus a flexible benefits packageBenefits package will include:Grade 8 company car and fuel cardOr a premium car allowance plus mileageExcellent pension contribution schemeFull BUPA Private Health CareMarket leading bonus schemeThe client:My client is one of the world's leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies, specializing inlump-sum turnkey projects for customers that produce, process, store and distribute the world's natural resources.The job:My client requires an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to be based from their offices in West London to work on a Naturalgas terminal worth GBP 70mThe work is broken down into smaller packages worth between GBP 6million and GBP 13millionAs the successful candidate you are required to oversee the packages and carry out the following: Draft Invitations to Tender documents as per the Contract Strategy /Plan sufficient to obtain Tenders. Recommendation of List of Tenderers Receipt and evaluation of Tenders. Charing clarification and negotiation meetings with Tenderers Arranging execution of contracts by both parties, and distribution of same Liaise with Field Subcontracts supervisor to ensure consistent approach pre/post contractRequirements: Professional Memberships are advantageous (RICS or CIOB) BSc in Quantity Surveying or a construction related subject 5+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience Contractor background Quantity Surveyors with Oils & Gas experience is a preference however my client would also look at telecoms orutilities experienceAdditional details:Due to the client being an international company there is the opportunity to work oversees in the Middle East and the USARef: RM1-5852Services advertised by Project Resource Ltd are those of an agency and/or an employment business.
