: The Client My clients are one of the top five construction contractors in the UK, with an annual turnover approaching GBP 2bn. Their project work predominantly involves medium to large scale construction projects within the education, commercial, leisure, retail and residential sectors. Project values vary, but range from GBP 500 000 to GBP 100million. Due to an increasing work load the client requires an experienced planner with construction sector knowledge, to join the current planning team. The company are involved in a wide spectrum of builds but currently have a focus on the residential and industrial type builds. The Role This role will be based in Kent although they currently have two projects that you will be working on; one based in Essex working on a GBP 20 million pound new build project and one in Kent on a GBP 10 million new build of a Leisure Centre. Successful candidate To apply for this role you should be experienced in project planning with 4/5 years + in a construction based environment. Experience of residential projects is highly desirable. You will have a firm grasp of the whole planning life cycle, from conception to completion. Ideally you will have worked on large scale projects and any experience in tender work would be highly advantageous. Remuneration The remuneration for this role is up to GBP 45,000 per annum dependent upon experience and the successful candidate can expect to receive a company car / car allowance, pension scheme, healthcare and performance related bonus scheme.
