Freight Forward import export operation coordinatorMy client based in south Hampshire is one of the UKs most successful freight forwarding companies. working worldwide toprovide seamless freight transportation across the globe. With offices based in the UK and USA they are currently lookingto recruit someone with around 2 years previous freight experience either import or export. Duties would be as follows: Assist Operations manager when required. Supervise Trainees and assist with any queries Pass purchase invoices and resolve Accounts queries Ensure that Customer courtesy calls are completed Complete functions as instructed by clients & management Reply to all customer requests immediately Action client shipments from inception to completion Booking import/export shipments via in house computer system Order chasing UK & Overseas via telephone and fax/e-mail Cover aspects of filing/locating files per department needs Completion of transport documents for final delivery to airlines and shipping lines Obtain post shipment information from airline/shipping lines via telephone and computer system Issue quotations Complete customs entries Full training on in-house computer system including communication internal & external (email and fax) Assist with invoicing to ensure that it is completed in a timely manner Ensure quality procedures are followed as per ISO 9001 Follow MANAGERIAL USER GUIDE (reporting structures) as per ISO 9001 Protect, Maintain & Develop existing clients Ensure culture of company is maintained through use of reporting structures and impress messages.Job details as follows: Salary GBP 15,000 GBP 18,000 Hours 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Incentive bonus scheme amount varies according to the profits of the company/branch.If you feel you could be suitable please do not hesitate to forward your CV to me as soon as possible.
