This successful energy management company is urgently seeking an experienced Engineer with experience of heating plantand hot water systems to work on maintenance contracts in London. The candidate will have previous experience in thisfield and the relevant industry qualifications. A good understanding of operations and maintenance, systems/boiler planton a domestic and commercial level is required.This is an interesting, varied and rewarding position but will require commitment and a proactive approach. The suitableperson must also be reliable and trustworthy. Key responsibilities will include:" Carrying our repairs, plant maintenance and minor installation works on heating boilers and central heating/hot watersystems." Ensuring paperwork is up to date and correctly completed." Ensuring jobs are closed down promptly to allow for timely invoicing." Liasing with customers and client in a polite and efficient manner, escalating where necessary." Providing reports to, and working closely with, the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager." Establishing and maintain productive working relationships with clients, etc." Developing a knowledge of appropriate health and safety measures and follow Company Health and Safety procedures at alltime." Always representing the Company in a professional manner.To be considered for this position, candidates should have:" Experience of and familiarity with heating boilers and central heating/hot water systems Understanding of CHP systemsan advantage." An appropriate HVAC technical qualification. ACS or 16th Edition would be an advantage, as would a plumbingqualification."
