11 months fixed term contract, working for a major railway company. Required skills & experience: A NEBOSH Certificate inOccupational Safety & Health or equivalent as a minimum while a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health isdesirable (or must be willing to work towards if required).1 - 2 years of management skills and experience is essential along with good numeracy, literacy and analytical skills.Experience of managing the performance and development of people in a project based environment as well as a generalunderstanding of business management is desirable. Specialist knowledge and skills in Noise and Vibration assessmenttechniques is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of train depot maintenance work environment is highly desirable.Knowledge of audible systems and a good understanding of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental legislation andstandards is essential.The ability to turn strategy into improved business performance is essential.
